Centenary of the Catholic Parish of St Michael’s, East Ham – 4th June 2025
Thanksgiving Mass was held on Saturday, 7th June, 2025, with the Rt Rev Bishop Alan Williams, SM, the main celebrant.
In the 1920’s this part of East London witnessed a huge influx of Catholics so this parish was established to nurture the faith of local people.
The Sisters of Mercy arrived in the parish in 1989, to support the parish priest in his ministry to the growing, multi-cultural parish. Currently, two of our Sisters are here.
